ST. LOUIS, MO — The 2025 United Football League season will begin in a little under two months and with it this year, the St. Louis Battlehawks will get to host an extra home game.
That news was announced on Friday, as the UFL revealed its full league-wide schedule for the new season.
And for the first time ever, the Battlehawks will host six regular season home games. The league’s plan is usually for each team to host five home games, but one of St. Louis’ opponents — its division champ rival, the San Antonio Brahmas — will be unable to host the game when the two teams were scheduled to play there.
So the Battlehawks and Brahmas agreed to move the game to St. Louis and play at The Dome at America’s Center twice this season.
“As we planned for the 2025 season, our process from a league standpoint was to assess availabilities at our venues to create a schedule that works operationally across all eight markets,” UFL CEO/President Russ Brandon said. “After reviewing venue availabilities, we decided the best option would be to add a sixth home game to St. Louis in order to best fulfill our team schedules. We are grateful for the support our partners; the City of St. Louis and the Dome have given us.”

The Battlehawks will begin the new season on March 28 with a road game against the Houston Roughnecks.
The following week is when St. Louis will host its home opener, against San Antonio, on April 6. The Battlehawks will be home again the following week, with a matchup against the DC Defenders.
St. Louis dominated in league attendance last year, drawing average crowds of around 34,000 fans and a record-breaking spring football crowd of 40,000-plus in last year’s home opener. The city was also the league’s choice to host its first ever league championship game.
The season will continue through the end of May, with teams advancing to the playoffs in June.
