ST. LOUIS, MO — After producing record-setting XFL football crowds last season, the St. Louis Battlehawks have decided to raise the bar even higher.
The Battlehawks announced this week, that there will be a select number of 400-level season tickets available for the 2024 XFL season.
This is the first time since professional football has returned to St. Louis that Battlehawks season tickets will be available in the upper level section of the Dome. The team did make some upper deck seats available for certain games last year, but knowing the demand for tickets, the Battlehawks have decided to give fans the chance to purchase season tickets in the higher levels.
Last year, the Battlehawks top 30,000 fans for each game, with a max of over 38,000. This season, the team hopes to top that mark in every game.
“This is a direct response to the feedback we received from fans,” Senior VP of Ticketing for the XFL, Jason Gonella said. “We opened up part of the 400-level for some games last year, but doing so now allows more of an opportunity for fans to secure the seating they want for the entire season.”
The latest season ticket plan coincides with several new plans for the 2024 season. Season tickets in other sections at The Dome went on sale on Aug. 1. All Season Ticket Memberships include access to purchase additional tickets at a member rate, priority to renew seats for 2025 and special events, according to a press release.
“I love that we are doing this now. A step towards our goal to #FillTheTop,” said Anthony Becht, St. Louis Battlehawks Head Coach. “A lot of fans have shared their special memories of sitting up there in the past, and we hope to create even more for them going forward.”
It was announced in September 2023 that the XFL and United States Football League (USFL) would merge. Both eight-team leagues played during the NFL offseason.
The announcement did not specify how the merger could affect the Battlehawks and the league as a whole. No other details or schedules have been announced.
