Two of Saint Louis University’s recent men’s basketball stars will play in the 2025 NBA Summer League, beginning Thursday, July 10, in Las Vegas.
Yuri Collins, a 2023 SLU graduate, who has played for the Golden State Warriors’ G-League team, the Santa Cruz Warriors, and also appeared in two games for the NBA Warriors, will play for the Phoenix Suns this summer.
As perhaps the best point guard in Saint Louis school history, Collins is the Billikens’ all-time assists leader and led the NCAA in assists and assist per game in the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons.
Terrence Hargrove Jr. will play with the Denver Nuggets. He is coming off his first professional season with the Bakken Bears in Denmark, which resulted in a league championship. Hargrove played in 145 games throughout his SLU career and registered more than 1,000 career points as a Billiken.
