ST. LOUIS, MO — It’s been more than two weeks since the Saint Louis University men’s soccer team has played a game at home at Hermann Stadium. But they’ll get the chance to do so, Tuesday night, when the club hosts Lipscomb University in a non-conference matchup for both clubs.
Saint Louis is coming off a thrilling 2-0 win at Portland this past Friday. The Billikens were outshot (9-8) and outcornered (3-2), but they capitalized better on the chances they created and earned a fun win on the west coast.
SLU is now 2-2-1 on the season. Lipscomb, which won the Atlantic Sun Conference title last year, is 2-2-2 so far this season, and coming off a 2-2 tie against Kentucky last Saturday.
Lipscomb leads the all-time series against Saint Louis 2-1. SLU won the first ever matchup in 2021, but the Bison have won the last two, including a 2-1 win in St. Louis in 2022 and a 2-1 game in Nashville last season.
