COLUMBIA, MO — The University of Missouri men’s basketball team will be home for a pair of games this week, looking to end a nine-game losing streak, which began when Southeastern Conference play started in January.

Missouri will host Texas A&M on Wednesday, and Mississippi State on Saturday. Wednesday’s game is set to tip off at 8 p.m., and will be televised nationally on ESPN2.

Texas A&M had a rough start to SEC play as well, losing its first three of its first four. But the Aggies have since won three of its last four, including a 63-57 win over Missouri back on January 23.

That victory was the third straight for the Aggies over the Tigers. All-time, A&M owns a 25-20 record over Missouri.

Players to Watch: Mizzou guard combo Sean East and Tamar Bates has been one of the few bright spots for the Tigers this season.

East, a grad student senior, leads the Tigers with a 15.6 points per game average. Bates, a junior, is second at 13.9 ppg. In conference games, Bates is averaging 19.8 ppg, which ranks fifth in the conference.

For A&M, junior Wade Taylor IV leads his team with 19.8 points and 3.7 assists per game. Seniors Tyrece Radford (13.8) and Henry Coleman III (10.4) also score in double figures, while fellow senior Andersson Garcia leads the Aggies with 8.5 rebounds per game.

Up Next: The Tigers will host Mississippi State at Mizzou Arena on Saturday. That contest is slated for a 7:30 p.m. start and will be televised nationally on the SEC Network.
