ST. CHARLES, MO — The Lindenwood University athletics department announced on Friday that it had set the start times for its 2024 home football games.

Lindenwood will be entering its third season as an NCAA Division I program and will play its second season as members of the Big South-Ohio Valley Conference Football Association. The Lions will have six home games — two non-conference games and four Big South-OVC games.

Lindenwood will begin its season on August 29, with a road game against Kansas.

The following week, the Lions will play their home opener, on September 7, at Hunter Stadium against Central Arkansas. That game will kick off at 6 p.m.

The next week, Lindenwood will play a road game at Missouri State, before returning home for its second home game, on September 21, against St. Thomas. Kick off that day will be 1 p.m.

After a trip to Eastern Illinois the following week, the Lions will host Tennessee State on October 5, and Charleston Southern on October 12, for back-to-back conference games both starting at 1:00 p.m.

Western Illinois comes to Hunter Stadium on Saturday, October 26, as they enter their first season in the conference. Start time is slated for a 2:00 p.m. kick-off. Lindenwood will end their 2024 home schedule on Saturday, November 9, with a matchup against Southeast Missouri State for the third annual MRV Banks Game Ball Brawl. Lindenwood and SEMO will clash at 1:00 p.m.
