NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The 2023 NCAA football is set to begin in a little more than a month, with teams looking to kick off training camp as soon as next week.
The Lindenwood Lions will open their summer training camp on Thursday, August 3, with four full weeks of practice before kicking off the new season with a home game at Hunter Stadium against Wisconsin-Stevens Point on August 31.
But before all that, the new season will start with the Big South-OVC Football Association Kickoff on Tuesday, July 25, in Nashville. This is the first season that the 10 teams from the Big South and Ohio Valley Conferences will compete in the same league, and Tuesday will be the first day that all the teams will get to officially talk about the new season.
Live interviews with each head coach and players from each team will be streamed on ESPN+, with the show scheduled listed below.
The broadcast will begin at 8:15 a.m., with the unveiling of the preseason poll. After that each school will rotate to the interview set to discuss the upcoming season.
Lindenwood coach Jed Stugart will be in attendance, along with senior offensive lineman Ethan Johnson and senior defensive lineman Moses Ale. Lindenwood is set to be on the ESPN+ live show around 10:45 a.m.
