The Ohio Valley Conference released its preseason men’s basketball poll for the upcoming 2025-26 season on Tuesday, and in it Lindenwood University was picked to finish fifth.

Lindenwood didn’t receive any first-place votes, but did finish with 100 total points, tied with Morehead State.

Little Rock, formerly known as Arkansas-Little Rock, received 12 first-place votes and 188 total points to finish first. Southeast Missouri State came in second, with six first-place votes and 177 points.

SIU-Edwardsville received one first-place vote and 163 points to come in third, followed by Tennessee State, which also got one vote and 135 total points to finish fourth. Tennessee Tech was seventh, Tennessee-Martin eighth, and Southern Indiana received the other two first-place votes and was picked ninth.

Eastern Illinois and Western Illinois rounded out the poll at 10th and 11th, respectively.

The OVC will once again include 11 teams, with each team playing every other team twice to comprise a 20-game conference schedule.
