After dropping a road matchup and losing its starting quarterback last week to now No. 9 Vanderbilt, the University of Missouri football team fell four spots from No. 15 to No. 19 in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 national poll, which was released Sunday night.

Missouri also fell in the Coaches Poll, dropping from No. 14 to No. 20.

Mizzou opened the season receiving votes in the AP Poll and slowly climbed each week until the Tigers suffered their first defeat against current No. 4 Alabama.

Mizzou dropped two spots to No. 16, but climbed up one spot after beating Auburn on the road the next week.

The top 10 remained essentially the same after an undefeated week by the top-ranked teams.

With four games left of the schedule, the Tigers have two ranked teams left to play.

After a bye week, Mizzou will host No. 3 Texas A&M on November 7. Then a few weeks later, the Tigers will face No. 18 Oklahoma on November 22.
