The No. 19-ranked University of Missouri football team continues its campaign against unranked Iowa in the Music City Bowl on December 30 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn.

The Tigers finished up a 9-3 regular season with a snowy win over Arkansas. It’s the first time Mizzou has posted back-to-back nine-win seasons since 2013-14.

Capped with a 30-yard rushing touchdown by quarterback Brady Cook, Mizzou retained the Battle Line Trophy for the eighth time in the last nine years. The 28-20 victory over the Razorbacks marked Mizzou’s 10th straight win at home.

The Tigers’ only losses this season came at the hands of ranked SEC opponents Texas A&M, Alabama & South Carolina.

If Missouri wins its bowl game, it will have back-to-back double-digit win seasons for just the third time in program history.

Mizzou’s most recent bowl game appearance was a 14-3 win in the Cotton Bowl over No. 7 Ohio State last season.

Kickoff of the Music City Bowl is slated for 1:30 p.m. on ESPN.
