COLUMBIA, MO — The University of Missouri women’s basketball team released its 2024-25 season schedule on Wednesday.
The Tigers’ 31-game slate will feature 19 home games, including six in December.
Missouri will play nine teams that made the NCAA Tournament, with four of those games — which includes a visit from defending national champion South Carolina — will be played at Mizzou Arena.
The season will begin on November 4, when Missouri will play at road game at Vermont. Mizzou’s home opener will be November 7 against Southern University.
The Tigers’ initial homestand will be a three-game slate, which includes the game against Southern, followed by back-to-back outings against Norfolk State and Tulane on November 10 and November 12, respectively.
Mizzou will have another set of interesting matchups later that month. On November 20, the Tigers will host WNIT champion Saint Louis University.
A week later, during the week of Thanksgiving, Missouri will play in the Emerald Coast Classic in Destin, Fla.
The Tigers will play Syracuse on November 25 and either Creighton or Wichita State on November 26.
That will lead to December, when Mizzou will play every game that month at home, with Jacksonville State, SMU, Northern Illinois, Lipscomb, Oral Roberts, and Jackson State all paying visits to Mizzou Arena. The game against SMU will be part of the ACC/SEC Challenge.
SEC play will commence in January, beginning with a home matchup against South Carolina on January 2. League play will run through February and conclude on March 2, with a home game against Vanderbilt.
The SEC Tournament will be March 5-9 in Greenville, S.C.
