The University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team is ranked fifth for the second straight week in the latest AVCA/Taraflex Division II Top 25 poll that was released on Monday afternoon.

The Tritons are one of three teams in the Great Lakes Valley Conference ranked in this week’s poll. Lewis moved up three spots to No. 20 and Rockhurst checks in at No. 25 after receiving votes last week. Quincy is in the receiving votes category.

Wayne State (Neb.) moved up to No. 1 in the latest ranking after sweeping second ranked Concordia-St. Paul this past weekend. West Texas A&M dropped from second to third and Tampa remained fourth.

UMSL (12-0) begins a three-match homestand this Friday hosting William Jewell in its home and conference opener at 6 p.m. at the Mark Twain Building.
