The University of Missouri-St. Louis athletics department announced its official spectator policy for home sporting events during the 2021-22 season on Monday.

After allowing limited attendance last year and cancelling some sports seasons completely, UMSL will allow full attendance to home events this year at all indoor and outdoor facilities.

For indoor events, which includes basketball and volleyball games at the Mark Twain Building, and swimming events at the UMSL Swimming Pool, fans will be required to wear masks, regardless of their vaccination status.

At outdoor events, such as soccer games at Don Dallas Field, baseball games at the UMSL Baseball Field, softball games at the UMSL Softball Field, or tennis matches at the UMSL Tennis Courts, fans are encouraged to wear masks and practice social distancing, but masks will not be required.

UMSL also announced ticket prices for the coming season. General admission is $7, with childen 6 and under allowed in free, and senior citizen tickets (anyone 65 or older) will be $5.

Those prices are for any home baseball, softball, volleyball, basketball, soccer, or swimming event. Attendance is free for UMSL tennis events.

Attendance is free for any event for all UMSL students, staff, and/or faculty with their UMSL ID.

The Great Lakes Valley Conference also announced that the GLVC Sports Network, which can be found online at www.glvcsn.com, will provide free online streaming coverage for most events being hosted by a GLVC team this year.

UMSL will be playing its 27th season as a member of the GLVC this year.
