The Washington University football team announced its schedule for the 2025 season on Friday.
WashU will play 10 regular season games — five home and five on the road — beginning with the season opener on Saturday, September 6 at Francis Olympic Field against Rhodes College.
The Bears will play their first road game two weeks later, on September 20 against Carroll University.
The first major test of the season will come in the third game, when WashU will host defending NCAA Division III national champion, North Central College. The Cardinals went 15-0 last year and have played in the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl — the D3 national championship game — in each of the last five seasons.

WashU’s other home games will be October 4 against Illinois Wesleyan, October 18 against Elmhurst, and November 8 against North Park.
The Bears will once again compete in the CCIW. Last year, the club went 7-2 in conference games and came in third place behind North Central and Wheaton.
