The new NCAA Division III women’s soccer Top 25 rankings came out on Monday and there was a new team atop the poll.

The Washington University Bears, who were ranked No. 3 two weeks ago and No. 2 last week, are now the new No. 1 team in the country. That’s according to the newest United Soccer Coaches D3 poll.

WashU is 13-0-1, after posting a draw and a spectacular win over two top-10 opponents this past weekend. The Bears also remain the only team at any level of soccer in the country, that has yet to give up a goal this season.

The Bears will play their first game as the new No. 1 team in the country, this evening, against Greenville University. The contest is scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m.

WashU will then be home for its final two regular season games, on October 29 and November 4. Those contests are both UAA league games against Rochester (Oct. 29) and the University of Chicago (Nov. 4).
