Welcome to STLBigTimeSports.com, a new website dedicated to providing coverage of the St. Louis area’s top small college and minor league sports teams.

There are plenty of places online, on television, on the radio, anywhere and everywhere that cover St. Louis’ main sports teams — the Cardinals, the Blues, Mizzou, SLU, and the Illini — but hardly anyone out there is covering the lesser known, but somehow equally fun & exciting teams at Lindenwood, UMSL, Washington University, or even the Gateway Grizzlies.

Well now, THE PLACE to find coverage of those little guys and so many others is here at STLBigTimeSports.com.

Our plan is to hit the ground running. It’s currently late March 2021, which means we’re smack dab in the middle of the 2021 spring sports college season and about a month away from the beginning of spring training for Frontier League baseball. 

LU, UMSL, and Wash. U. all have baseball, softball, volleyball, and soccer teams that are off to good starts here in 2021 and we’re gonna try our best to cover them all. And we promise to be ready when the fall and winter teams — football, basketball, wrestling, hockey, and everybody else — begin their seasons in a few months as well.

We’re a small team ourselves. Just a few sports-obsessed writers and reporters, but our group loves the Lions, Tritons, Bears, and Grizzlies, and we’re gonna do our best to be at every game, cover every game, and write about every game these teams play.

Our hope is to do a good job covering these teams, so their fans will quickly learn THE PLACE to get the best news and info on their favorite small college & minor league sports teams is here at STLBigTimeSports.com.
