COLUMBIA, MO — One week after its record-setting 72-point victory over Mississippi Valley State, the University of Missouri men’s basketball team will be back in action on Friday night with a matchup against Pacific at Mizzou Arena.
Missouri (3-1) has won three games in a row after losing its season opener at Memphis and each game the Tigers have looked better.
Seven players scored in double figures and Mizzou hit 15 three-pointers in the win over MVSU. The Tigers will look to keep rolling as they play their fourth of 10 straight home games, before heading into their annual Braggin’ Rights game against Illinois in St. Louis on December 22.
Pacific (3-3) is on a three-game losing streak after winning its first three. Pacific’s last game was on Monday, November 18, when the Tigers lost to No. 18 Arkansas, 91-72. Pacific trailed 59-57 with just under 13 minutes to play, but Arkansas stormed away the rest of the way for a convincing win.
