COLUMBIA, MO — The University of Missouri women’s softball team earned a 10-2 run-rule victory over SIU-Edwardsville, Tuesday evening at Mizzou Softball Stadium.
With the win, Missouri moves to 22-24 in 2025. The run-rule victory is the fifth of the season for Mizzou.
MU has now scored 10 or more runs in two of the last three games.
The Tigers were led offensively by freshman Madison Uptegrove and junior Kayley Lenger. The duo both finished 3-for-3 at the plate for personal-best outings.
Uptegrove added a career-high four RBI with two runs and a homer. It marked her third career multi-RBI game and second career multi-hit game.
Lenger matched a personal-high two RBI to go with a home run, triple, run and a walk. The Liberty, Missouri, center fielder, has registered home runs in two of the last three games. She also has four multi-hit games and two multi-RBI games in 2025.

Taylor Pannell picked up the complete-game victory in the circle to improve to 5-5 in 2025. She is now 3-0 (all complete games) over four career starts (all in 2025). Pannell, a junior from Lee’s Summit, Missouri, allowed just one earned run on four hits with career-best eight strikeouts and a walk.
Missouri got on the board early in the first on an RBI from senior Taylor Ebbs.
A base hit to right field by sophomore Stefania Abruscato extended the lead over the opening inning to 2-0.
Lenger then tallied her career-best third home run of the season (fifth in career) as the Tigers would head to the third ahead 4-0 following a RBI fielder’s choice.
