The University of Missouri is now ranked in both major college football polls. Missouri moved up from No. 25 to No. 23 in the Associated Press Top 25 and made its first appearance in the USA Today/Coaches Poll at spot No. 22.

The Tigers are 3-0 on the year and have looked fantastic in each game.

In Week 1, Mizzou blew past Central Arkansas, 61-6. They then followed up that performance with a thrilling, 42-31 win over Kansas.

Last week, Mizzou dominated Louisiana, 52-10, in a game the Tigers led from start-to-finish.

The Tiger offense starred in last week’s contest. Running back Ahmad Hardy ran for a career-high 250 yards and three touchdowns and is now the leading rusher in the nation. Quarterback Beau Pribula didn’t have a big day, but he did account for three touchdowns, with a touchdown run and two touchdown passes.

The Mizzou defense has also been dynamite through three weeks. The Tigers swarmed Central Arkansas in the opener, then held Kansas to just three yards rushing in Week 2. Then in Week 3, Mizzou held Louisiana to just four yards passing.

Missouri is one of 11 SEC teams in the AP Top 25.

Ohio State remained No. 1 in the poll, with fellow Big 10 power Penn State at No. 2. LSU is No. 3, with Miami (No. 4), Georgia (No. 5), Oregon (No. 6), Florida State (No. 7), Texas (No. 8), Illinois (No. 9), and Texas A&M (No. 10) rounding out the Top 10.

Mizzou will be at home again this weekend, when it hosts South Carolina on Saturday. Kickoff at Faurot Field is set for 6 p.m., and the game will be televised nationally on ESPN.
