ST. CHARLES, MO — The Lindenwood University baseball team completed its season sweep over Southern Illinois University on Tuesday, with a 12-2 run-rule, walkoff win at the Lou Brock Sports Complex.
The victory continued an impressive run for Lindenwood, which has won 11 of its last 12 games and is 13-3 in the month of April.
The Lions banged out 12 hits, including six extra-base hits, as they scored runs in five of the seven innings played. The game ended after Lindenwood scored in the bottom of the seventh to go up by 10.
Every batter in the Lindenwood starting lineup had at least one hit, led by freshman Owen Ralph, who had two hits, three RBIs, and scored a run. Teammate Spencer Pederson also had three RBIs.
Another freshman, Will Geary, had two hits and scored two runs. Senior Filip Sarota had two hits, an RBI, and scored three runs.
Lindenwood’s leading hitter, senior Jake Radosevich, hit his team-leading ninth home run of the season to raise his team-leading RBI total to 35.

Tuesday’s contest was the final game of a five-game homestand for the Lions, of which they won four.
Lindenwood is now 25-19 on the season, while SIU fell to 17-26.
The Lions will be on the road this weekend, when they return to Ohio Valley Conference play, with a three-game series at SIU-Edwardsville.
Lindenwood and SIUE will play games on Friday (6 p.m.), Saturday (2 p.m.), and Sunday (1 p.m.), with the Sunday game scheduled to be streamed live on ESPN+.
Lindenwood’s next home game will come next Tuesday, May 5, when the Lions will host Saint Louis University. First pitch for that matchup at the Lou Brock Sports Complex is slated for 5 p.m., and that game will also be streamed live on ESPN+.
