NORMANDY, MO — The University of Missouri-St. Louis athletics department has released its full men’s basketball schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
UMSL will play 26 regular season games this year, 10 at home, 12 on the road, and four at neutral sites.
The season will begin with a road matchup against longtime foe Kentucky Wesleyan on November 9 at the Owensboro Sportscenter in Owensboro, Ky. That gave will actually be the second game of the season for the Panthers, but will serve as their home opener.
The Tritons will then play in a pair of neutral site events — first, in the JustAGame Crossover in Wisconsin and then in the Legends Classic in Lebanon, Ill., hosted by McKendree University.
In those games, UMSL will play Northern Michigan (November 13) and Michigan Tech (November 14), and then Hannibal-La Grange (November 20) and Ferris State (November 21).
UMSL’s home opener will come on Saturday, December 5, when the Tritons will host Upper Iowa in a Great Lakes Valley Conference game at the Mark Twain Building.
Other key home games will be on December 15, when UMSL hosts crosstown rival Maryville; January 7, when the Tritons host Quincy, and the regular season finale on February 27, when UMSL hosts Missouri S&T.
