OBERLIN, OH — With three straight wins to begin the season, the Washington University football team will look to stay unbeaten when it faces winless Oberlin College, in a North Coast Athletic Conference game, Saturday afternoon at OC’s Dick Bailey Field.
The Bears, who were ranked No. 20 in the NCAA Division III football Top 25 this week, have gotten off to a red-hot start this year by scoring at least 30 points in each of their first three games.
Oberlin (0-3), on the other hand has struggled. The Yeomen haven’t moved the ball well and have only scored one touchdown so far this season.
The teams have played four times previously, with WashU having won all four. The last meeting came in 2011, when the Bears won 24-21.

Players to Watch: Senior quarterback Levi Moore went 13-for-18 for 135 yards with two touchdown passes and one interception. He also had 93 rushing yards on nine carries and a rushing touchdown.
Sophomore Brayden Lewis had 126 rushing yards on 13 carries with a touchdown. Senior Drew Bomar led the receivers with seven catches for 65 yards while senior Makael Carter had three catches for 44 yards and scored two touchdowns.
Lewis leads WashU with 220 rushing yards this season and Moore, who has 210 rushing yards, is tied for the NCAC lead with five rushing touchdowns.
Defensively, senior Henry Murr had 11 total tackles (6 solo, 5 assists), 2.5 tackles-for-loss and one forced fumble. Senior Brett Kersemeier had eight total tackles (6 solo, 2 assists) and senior Joy Chane had seven total tackles (4 solo, 3 assists) and 1.5 tackles-for-loss.

Oberlin is coming off a 34-7 loss to Wabash College last weekend. The Yeoman scored their lone touchdown in the third quarter when receiver JJ Racz caught a pass from quarterback Massimo Vliet.
Up Next: The Bears will be back home for a huge matchup against No. 7 John Carroll, next Saturday.
Kickoff at Francis Olympic Field is slated for 1 p.m., and the game will be streamed live on the North Coast Network.
