ORLANDO, FL — The new-look St. Louis Battlehawks will face a familiar face when they hit the field Saturday night against the Orlando Storm.
Former Battlehawks coach Anthony Becht will be on the opposite sideline, coaching his fifth game as the head man of the new team in Orlando.
Becht has been doing a phenomenal job too. The Storm are 4-0 and will enter Saturday’s showdown with the Battlehawks as the only undefeated team remaining in the United Football League this season.
St. Louis will come into the contest with a 2-2 mark, following a rough loss last week against the defending league champ, DC Defenders.

Players to Watch: Quarterback is always an interesting question in the football world, but it will be an especially intriguing issue for the Battlehawks, who benched their original starter Brandon Silvers in favor of UFL rookie Harrison Frost, who led a huge comeback for a win in Week 3, but played a poor game in last week’s loss.
Disappointment over Frost’s play prompted St. Louis to trade for veteran QB Luis Perez, known as the “Spring King” due to his several seasons of outstanding play in different spring football leagues over the past eight years.
Battlehawks head coach Ricky Proehl stated that Frost will start this week, and it seems unlikely that Perez would play. But a move is not out of the question and St. Louis runs an offense similar to what Perez ran for the Arlington Renegades (now known as the Dallas Renegades), when he was their starting QB the past two seasons.
Orlando QB Jack Plummer has been one of the UFL’s most efficient quarterbacks, ranking second with 854 passing yards and seven touchdowns. He also leads the UFL in completion percentage and efficiency, throwing just one interception all season. His ability to protect the football has been a defining factor in Orlando’s early-season success.
Behind him, the Storm boast the top offense in the league, averaging 307 yards per game. What makes them dangerous is their depth. With KJ Hamler out last week, Cam Camper stepped up in a major way. After not recording a catch through the first three weeks, Camper broke out with four receptions, 44 yards, and a touchdown in Week Four, a clear sign that Orlando’s offense doesn’t rely on just one or two playmakers.
Defensively, the Storm have been just as impressive. They’ve been dominant against the run, allowing a league-best 61 rushing yards per game, and consistently force opponents into one-dimensional game plans. Their front, featuring Keshawn Banks, Isaiah Buggs, Chris Garrett, and Tavante Beckett, has controlled the line of scrimmage week after week.
They’re coming off a shutout performance, the first in the UFL since 2024, and will look to carry that momentum into another statement game.

Up Next: The Battlehawks will play their third straight game on the road, next Thursday, April 30, when they’ll head to the Derby City to take on the Louisville Kings at the Lynn Family Stadium. Louisville comes into this weekend with a 1-3 record, but will look to improve that when it takes on Dallas, Sunday afternoon in Texas.
The St. Louis-Louisville game will kickoff at 7 p.m., and will be televised nationally on FS1.
